Fantastic value. Two pairs of glasses for my husband were half the price than vision express and just as good! Would definitely recommend.
Large selection of frames. Great prices. Very pleased with the two pairs of specs ordered online. Would definitely use again and recommend to others. Minor niggles: they didn't email a pre-paid postage label for sending old specs to check pupillary distance (PD), and online account area still showed old specs awaited even after order had been shipped!
Ordered glasses and paid for next day delivery as I was away needed them urgently for driving. Checked delivery on checkout and said they would arrive by 1pm Tuesday. Glasses didn't arrive. When I rang and asked where they were I was told that I must have read the delivery date wrong (not a chance as I needed them delivered by Tuesday and wouldn't have ordered otherwise). Now don't know when I'll get a refund. Possibly the most frustrating shopping experience I've ever had.
I've been trying for 2 days to get through on the phone to make an appointment for an eye test. I'm continually on hold and can't get through.About an hour after posting I received a call and now have an appointment in the diary. Great!
I ordered myself a designer pair of frames as they were affordable. The initial service was reasonable. Slow production and dispatch, but i was initially pleased with my glasses. Sadly, 17 months on and all do the coating is deteriorating and I can no longer use them. Ive been wearing glasses since I was 10 (now 37) and Ive never had a pair of glasses do this. After contacting the customer service department I was told that they had exceeded their 12 months warranty and wouldnt acknowledge the severe deterioration. Im now in a position to either pay them to re glaze the frames, or shop elsewhere. If you want a cheap pair of glasses to last you a year, then they will provide exactly that. Id avoid anything designer, as their lenses will not last as long as the frames. Such a shame if you have a stable prescription and want to treat yourself to a nicer frame. Approach with caution.Edited to add the following in response to the company. At no point was I asked for additional photographs for clarification. I also offered them information regarding how I have cared for and maintained my glasses (well). They have offered to replace the lenses for 40, which is actually the same price as competitors for re-glazing, which I doubt I will accept as I suspect this will happen again. I feel this review is fair, as my customer experience outcome was not satisfactory. I feel that it has been insinuated that I have not cared for my glasses. I bought the glasses in good faith that they would last for a practicable length of time, not 17 months for the lenses.
